WEST DALLAS REVITALIZATION
The construction of 20 single-family homes in the West Dallas Revitalization Project, specifically within the Neighborhood Empowerment Zone in Census Tract 101. This initiative aims to create and maintain affordable housing throughout Dallas, promote greater fair housing choices, and overcome patterns of segregation and poverty concentration by offering incentives for home sales to households earning 60-80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Each thoughtfully designed home features spacious layouts of 1,300-1,700 livable square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2-2.5 bathrooms, including walk-in showers and closets. The open floor plans create bright, flowing living spaces, while a 2-car
garage provides ample parking. All homes come fully equipped with kitchen appliances including stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave.
The development has generated over $5 million in total appraised value, with homeowners gaining an average of $60,000-80,000 in equity per home upon at closing. To date, 17 of the planned 20 homes have been constructed, with 5 currently
available for purchase through Builder of Hope CDC Homebuyer Services with home prices ranges in the mid $200k.
